In proceeding with projects, JPS receives valuable information assets from all parties involved with projects, such as clients, licensors, partners, subcontractors and vendors, integrates such valuable information assets from outside with its own into newly created information assets, and provides the new information assets to its project partners as needed. JPS is thus a major information center complete with all necessary information for project execution.
Fully recognizing the importance of protecting information assets thus collected from outside from information security threats as its vital corporate responsibility as engineering company, JPS set up an information security management system (ISMS) and is applying it to carry out projects.
JPS manages and protects its information assets through business activities featuring a proper balance among the three ISMS elements of confidentiality, integrity and availability, and will continue to optimize the ISMS to meet technological development and business environment changes.
To this end, JPS endeavors to ensure that each of its employees complies with relevant laws and regulations, fully recognizing the necessity and importance of the ISMS. Through regular training, JPS aims to familiarize its employees with the ISMS.
